- 750 ml milk
- 16 grams baking powder
- 40 grams butter, softened at room temperature
Preparation
- Combine the cornmeal, sugar, salt, egg, vegetable oil, and milk in a bowl and mix well. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
- Pre-heat the oven 400 degrees F (about 200 degrees C).
- Add the baking powder to the batter and mix well. Brush the butter all over the bottom and the sides of baking pan (8 x 8 inch square).
