Hotel

Two nights at the Bad Hotel have been paid for by Josch's generous parents. You can arrive there on Friday afternoon and depart on Sunday morning. You are free to make individual arrangements for a longer stay. Important facts:

Schedule

Friday June 3

  1. arrival at Bad Hotel, check-in from 15:00 (See below of how to get there)

Saturday June 4

  1. 11:15 meet at the Überlingen Harbour on Saturday morning (See below of how to get there)

  2. 11:40 take a ship to Mainau
  3. 12:25 arrival in Mainau
  4. 13:00 - 14:00 wedding ceremony in Schlosskirche St. Marien
  5. 14:00 - 15:00 reception in the Rosengarten/Pergola (in case of bad weather: Wappensaal)
  6. 15:00 - 16:00 official foto taking
  7. 16:00 - 17:30 free exploration of Mainau and/or guided tours in German, English and Spanish

  8. 17:30 - 02:00 evening program Kastaniengarten (See below for the seating arrangement)

    1. dinner
    2. dancing
    3. games

Sunday June 5

  1. 00:00, 01:00 and 02:00 shuttle buses from parking lot "Schwedenschenke" back to Überlingen
  2. Bad Hotel check-out until 11:00

Wedding Gifts

You joining us for this celebration, your love and happiness is all we need. We don't want you to bring us presents either in physical or monetary form because we already have everything we need. We do not want to harm the environment or society more than necessary by encouraging more consumerism.

Dresscode

In the spirit of the location semi-formal garments would be fitting clothing choices. The guests should wear a dark or light suit and tie, or a long dress, or a dressy suit, or a cocktail-length dress. If you are unsure about what to wear you can send Valen (marivalenm@gmail.com or via their facebook) pictures of your dress, suit or cocktail dress and they will be happy to help you decide.

Photos and "smart" devices

We want to avoid that our guests spend the time at our wedding staring at their smartphones instead of fully enjoying the party. We would just like to encourage our guests to keep their "smart" device usage to a minimum. Here is a list of reason why you should keep your devices in your pockets:

„Antipasti plate“ with tomato mozarella, pickled zucchini, mushrooms and peppers, black and green olives, salad bouquet with red wine dressing

2nd course

Asparagus soup with morel dumplings

Beef and vegetable soup with semolina dumplings, pasta filled with meat and spinach and egg

Tomato bouillon with curd cheese dumplings and basil

3rd course

Safran risotto with zucchini and oyster mushrooms

Fried pikeperch filet, steamed salmon trout and pickerel meatballs with cream of chive, zucchinis, carrots and safran potatoes

Roast beef in Hagnau Pino Noir sauce with apple red cabbage and bread dumplings

4th course

Symphonie of panna cotta and tiramisu with a fresh bouquet of fruits
